First Aid Training & Certification

The Guild of Professional Chauffeurs holds a strong belief that first aid should feature in every professional chauffeurs’ skill set and insists on certification being a requisite of membership.

We ask all candidates to undertake at least a one day Emergency First Aid course before membership can commence. This certification can either be gained before attempting our own assessment process or after.

If candidates prefer to attempt the Guild’s assessment process first and are successful, they then have three months grace to gain first aid certification as well. Please note that Guild membership will not commence until we receive evidence of successful completion of a first aid course.

Guild-arranged first aid courses

To make gaining first aid certification easier for busy Chauffeurs, we have partnered with experienced training providers to host one day, level 3, accredited Emergency First Aid at Work courses which can be arranged in any area.

These courses are extremely cost effective and are uniquely customised to the chauffeuring profession, such as dealing with casualties at the scene of road traffic collisions, etc.

Candidates are of course free to train with any provider they choose but the Guild-arranged courses have proven to be very popular and the feedback has been excellent.

We post forthcoming courses on our news page.
