Welcome to the Guild of Professional Chauffeurs (GoPC) ”An Introduction to Professional Chauffeur Skills” e-learning course. This has been created by UK industry experts with the aim of improving safety, standards and service levels within the profession. Also, with a view to revitalising the reputation of our industry.
Although this course is entry-level training, it is very detailed and covers some aspects not always considered by our industry.
If you are a novice then this course will highlight the skill-set required to be a professional chauffeur. If you are an experienced chauffeur, this course will help complement your existing skills.
This course consists of 12 modules, each module consists of in-depth studies of various aspects of the industry and concludes with a multiple-choice test. To be successful, you must complete all modules and tests before you can access your downloadable certificate.
The Guild of Professional Chauffeurs have produced a series of ‘demonstration’ videos designed to help give you the skills, knowledge and understanding to be a professional chauffeur. We recommend viewing these videos first, to help you prepare for the course.
There is no time limit for completion of the course. On average it will take around 2 hours to complete the course in one go. However, you may choose to spend 20 minutes a day, or half an hour a week for example, by logging in or out as necessary. You have access to unlimited log-ins until you complete.
