Driving has always been a passion. It probably started at the age of five when I used to sit next to my Dad during the summer holidays. As a Class 1 HGV driver he later taught me to drive – the first lesson was in the Welsh mountains, so I understood how to use a gearbox properly!
I am probably different to most chauffeurs because my background is Precision Engineering. Through ten years in manufacturing, I went on to learn about process, efficiency and scale. I adopted many of the principles when DrivenByQ was founded in 2005. It played a major part in developing our bespoke (cloud based) booking system in 2008.
Starting with a single Volvo saloon car in 2005 we have gone on to run (plate exempt) Mercedes E and V Class as company vehicles. We also have an extensive network of individuals we call on (across the region). We are based in Wrexham, just outside Chester and have a second base in Deeside. We primarily serve large manufacturing companies and the areas (large) industrial parks.
